ComplyPress is a local-first compliance suite for WordPress. Everything runs on your own server: no cloud accounts, no per-visitor API calls and no visitor data leaving your site. The plugin makes no external HTTP calls.
It covers consent and cookies, accessibility scanning and runtime fixes, privacy-rights requests that flow into WordPress’s own export and erase tools, and policy drafts generated from your real settings.

What it does.
Consent banner
Box, Banner and Popup layouts with a preference center, custom colours and CSS, and multi-language content.
Script blocking & Consent Mode v2
Tagged scripts cannot run until the visitor consents to their category; Google Consent Mode v2 signals update live.
Cookie scanner & consent log
In-browser scanner with a bundled signature database, and consent logs with CSV export. IPs are stored only as rotating hashes.
Geo-targeting & GPC
Show the banner worldwide, in the EU/EEA/UK only or in chosen countries, and honour Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track.
Accessibility scanner
Checks pages locally against WCAG 2.0/2.1 A and AA rules with axe-core, plus runtime fixes such as a skip link and focus outlines.
Privacy requests & policies
A spam-protected data-request form feeding WordPress’s export / erase tools, and draft privacy, cookie and accessibility policies.
